Settling In

Most of my stuff is moved, got a fridge, and making the place my own. Moving can be stressful but traffic is more stressful than the actual move. Working on getting unpacked and the thing I find interesting is how much I’ve become reliant on my morning routine.

Last night I slept at the old place but my laptop was in the new place so I wasn’t able to get up and start to write. That was disturbing. Writing has become part of who I am. It’s a vital way to express my gratitude, commune with Him, and set the tempo for the day. This moment here is taking much longer than usual about twice as long.

Today, Wednesday, July 3, 2019, I am grateful that:

The majority of my move is completed. I think I may actual settle in Cebu. We’ll see what the future holds.

Rensi and I spent some time together yesterday. Great woman. Great companion. Great smile. She’s a delight and bright spot in my day.

I’m writing this even though it’s taking way too long and I’ve lost focus more than once while writing. Some days it’s more challenging to get things done but that’s the difference between being involved versus committed.
